African Lion Safari

I had a great time just cruising through the various sections and viewing the animals but it felt a bit rushed thanks to the rangers constantly driving about trying to get the animals to wake up or show up (felt to me like they were bothering the poor animals just trying to rest from the heat), and other motorists too. But in all, it was worth the money for a first-time visit.

An awesome place to spend a day around Toronto. A unique experience where the animals seem to be happy in their own habitat. The park rangers take good care of the animals and make sure the animals are treated well while the visitors are in their area. Good collection of exotic animals and lots of fun activities including shows, train ride, boat ride and an awesome water park. It's a really big place so cannot get crowded too. Good food options available but they are costly so pack your own food.

Went there last weekend as heard a lot about it from friends. Didn't get an authentic safari feels as it didn't seem like we are into the wilds but we did see the mighty lions up close and that was astonishing. Watched few other animal as well like giraffes, zebra, rhinoceros, kangaroos etc. Seems more like a drive through zoo. There are few other spots to watch some birds, reptiles and elephants. They also have some good entertaining presentations happening there.There are also some fun activities specifically for kids. We took the mini train ride around the lake which was relaxing, there's also a boat ride you can take.Overall you can spend a good 3-4 hrs with your family or friends and enjoy their famous funnel cake. There are quite a few other eateries as well.

Every year, African Lion Safari increases the entry fee. It's better to buy ticket online, 3dollar saving! You need to go there with your own risk, if some wild animals damage your car, you won't get any insurance coverage & The Safari Park authority won't take responsibility. African Lion Safari is one of the major tourism sight in Ontario. If you are in Ontario, don't miss to visit this place. A train, ferry ride, bird sight, water park, picnic spot are available. You can take your own drinks & foods with you. Better than Canada's Wonderland ( since they don't allow to take any food & drink inside). At Safari Park, you can even bbq at picnic area. Family friendly, kids friendly.

Really good if you are going for the first time.Personally for me it was a one time thing.Maybe try not to go on a hot day cause it's a long time to visit all and animals also might be chilling in the shade somewhere. Online tickets are cheaper than offline not much difference but still something.

Awesome place to spend a day with family. Exotic animals are living in their natural habitats. In safari, you can take your own vehicle or can take safari bus. Parks offers lot more activities like Train ride, boat ride, Birds shows, Reptile Show, Splash etc. Different food options available but I would suggest to bring your own food.Entire day was spent well with family. I have visited this place for more than 3-4 times and I Highly recommended place to visit in Summer.

Great place to visit with your family and kids. They have a amazing waterpark for children of all ages and they won't want to leave. They have great shows and lots of animals. You can take the bus for a few dollars to go in the safari or you can take your own vehicle. Great place to spend the day with your family!

It was an amazing experience. With a drive through you get a chance to see the animals from the closet distance and you get all the time to click photos.Also, Safari parks offers a lot more activities that you can do for the rest of the day which includes Train tour, Boat tour, Parrot Shows, Bird Show, Reptile show, Bumble bees and water park for kids.There are also a lot of food and drinks options for you to try including some halal options.Highly recommended place for your summer plans.

Very nice drive through safari. Saw lions, giraffes, rhinos, zebra, deer and lot more. Kids enjoyed it thoroughly. We couldn’t explore the areas where we have to walk since it was raining on that day. But definitely recommend for families with kids.
