I cannot recommend this place highly enough! The enclosures thoughtful and large, very healthy happy animals, the programs they run at the zoo and support around the world are amazing and all the staff we met where incredibly nice and passionate. The park itself was also beautiful!!! The trees!!! Just wow, 100's of years old.Blue peter badge valid still here too.

With the grounds being so huge can't always see the animals in the inclosures not that, that's a bad thing does seem rather run down from previous visit. The real reason for our visit was to see the Elephants (which went gone I believe that howletts will never be the same)

Had a great time, was very cold and some small pathways were closed off from you walking around and some animals weren't out or seen ( although this is typical with the Pallas cat, fishing cat, clouded leopard and Amur Leopards ) we did get to see the tiger up close, the lions were out as were the snow leopards. We got some AMAZING up close photos too. So overall although some animals were not seen we did see most of the others and get some very good photos.

Fantastic day. We went for my 6year olds birthday. We were there from opening to close. Everyone had a great time. Staff are friendly and it was quite quiet when we went. And saw most of the animals.

Great zoo had a good day with friend's and family. Friendly staff and nice too see the animals with a decent size enclosure unlike other zoos in the Canterbury area.

An absolutely superb experience! I saw plenty of beautiful animals and also did some close up encounters. The staff are amazing. They are so passionate and caring for the animals. You can see the animals are treated brilliantly and cared for to an exceptionally high standard. Special thanks to Pete, Lydia, Yasmin and the gentleman who did the elephant encounter (Adam, I believe). I will definitely return again soon!

Amazing Zoo. Elephants are by far the highlight of this particular zoo, but the tigers and gorillas are always fun to see too. Foods pretty good in the cafe and staff seem very friendly. Good day out.

A fabulous day here with the family. The enclosures are all large and the animals seem very well cared for. There are lots of facilities but it is a long walk round so wear comfortable shoes.

Fun day out to howletts wild animals park beside the 30-minute walk from the train station in Bekesbourne on the main road we got there safely and back need to be a safer way to get there with people who dont have cars. The workers outside of the gates on the way up were really helpful top marks for them.
